  • I am a co-champion of Track B Making use of Ontologies: Tools, Services, Techniques of the Ontology Summit 2014 themed Big Data and Semantic Web Meet Applied Ontology
• Ontology languages (and tools for them)
  • I am a member of the project team of OntoIOp, which is working on an OMG standard for ontology, model and specification integration and interoperability particularly on its DOL meta language (Distributed Ontology, Modelling and Specification Language), where "distributed" means
    • modular
    • heterogeneous
    • interlinked/mapped
    • annotated
  • I chaired the 2011 workshop on Ontologies coming of Age in the Semantic Web (OCAS), and the 2010 workshop on Ontology Repositories and Editors for the Semantic Web (ORES)
• SemanticWiki
  • I did a lot of research on those, particularly in mathematics and related domains
  • I chaired the 2010, 2009 and 2008 semantic wiki workshops at ESWC
  • I was involved in the organization of the SemanticWiki mini-series back in the 2008/2009 time frame, and had presented at several of the sessions there.
