Gregory E Sharp MD

Dr. Sharp received his undergraduate degree from Hope College, majoring in biology and chemistry and minoring in mathematics. He received his MD from the Washington University is St. Louis School of Medicine. He received his Family Medicine training from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He holds a master certificate in medical informatics from the University of Colorado.

Dr. Sharp founded Ideal Family Healthcare PC with his spouse in 2004. They practiced together until closing this private medical practice in 2018. Dr. Sharp founded Salveretec PBC in 2014 with the initial purpose of creating technology to support a platform cooperative/marketplace for healthcare called the Agyra LCA around the same time. Although the marketplace operated briefly, it was closed in 2019 when Dr. Sharp moved to the position of Chief Clinical Officer for Health Colorado Inc., where he helped in the configuration, deployment and user training for a collaborative physical/mental healthcare platform serving the 19 counties of southeast Colorado within the state Medicaid system. Dr. Sharp currently divides his time between virtual medicine for Plushcare/Accolade and self-directed projects in technology/philosophy for Salveretec PBC.

Dr. Sharp’s primary research interest is in the use of fixed network graph schemas for the representation of knowledge. He was issued US patent 16/190,003 in 2022 for the invention entitled “Ascriptive and descriptive entities for process and translation: a limited iterative ontological notation”.
